Charmain, Practice Administrator
Charmain has enjoyed working with Dr. Burkholder since 2003. She has over 15 years of experience in dentistry & has worked in various aspects of the dental industry starting as a chairside dental assistant for several years prior to assuming front desk responsibilities. Charmain believes “this diversity of experience gives me a true appreciation of working with Dr. Burkholder because of his strong dental ethics & values.” Charmain takes pride working in a practice that is education focused and being able to pass that on to patients for optimal dental & gum tissue care. Her favorite aspect of her job is furthering her knowledge through continuing education and facilitating effective relationships with patients. Charmain enjoys managing all administrative facets of the practice & is committed to providing the best information to patients and gets gratification from solution-finding and providing insight in regards to dealing with dental insurance.
Outside of the office Charmain enjoys family & friends, traveling, hiking, laughter good food & wine.
Vivian, Registered Dental Assistant
Vivian has mastered her skills working chairside with Dr. Burkholder since 2001. She has worked long and hard to become a very knowledgeable & competent assistant. Vivian received her California State Registered Dental Assistant License in 2003. She enjoys staying current with continued education courses & dental technology. Vivian truly enjoys working in a profession that has allowed her to develop her talents & relationships with patients. Her goal is to provide an efficient and uneventful appointment taking pride in making patient’s visits a pleasant experience. Vivian enjoys utilizing her knowledge & answering any questions you may have concerning dental care.
Outside of the office Vivian enjoys spending family time with her husband Quan of 12 years and her two children Heleen & Kyle.
Farideh, Registered Dental Hygienist
Farideh has brought a wealth of experience to our prevention-oriented practice since 2009. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist she had been a registered dental assistant for 12 years. She proudly earned her degree in dental hygiene in 2007 at Cabrillo College and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and California Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Additionally she works with a well known periodontist specialist where she trains and enjoys staying current with the newest periodontal health strategies. Farideh takes pride in building relationships with her patients and coaching them to achieve their dental health goals.
Farideh has been married for 30 years; she has one daughter – and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys entertaining friends and family, gardening, and walking with her dogs.
